Re: This is Why was Paramore's latest release. It's Paramore's way of revisiting the album, featuring a wide range of different well-known artists including Julien Baker (the guitarist for Boygenius), Wet Leg who recently received a "Best New Artist" recognition, and Remi Wolf whose voice has become an essential part of Indie hits.

In a new avant-garde type of album anniversary, Paramore chose to give a platform and performing opportunity to the artists who "long wanted to recognize the connection we have with some of the artists who’ve influenced us as a band and/or who have cited our band as an influence”.
All of the songs on the album were remixed. How and in what facet completely depended on the artist. Some of the songs were classically remixed while others were rewritten or completely reworked. "This is Why" (Re: Foals) for example was almost completely reworked with the lyrics spread out and separated by a long spread of instrumentals as opposed to the upbeat pop that it began as.
The album also includes a demo, "Sanity" that was not on the original album and is not covered by any other artist. They hinted at this new addition in their Instagram with a "+1 b-side" leading up to the release itself.
Not to be biased but "Sanity" is the best track on this new album. Even with just being a demo, it evokes a similar sound to their last album "After Laughter" embracing this new pop era that they are coming into as a band. I think their history in pop-punk though, gives way to this truly unique pop sound that not many big-name artists of the last few years can say, and a lot of well-known artists try to emulate Paramore's sound without much luck.

Following a lung infection from lead singer Haley Williams, the remainder of the "This is Why" tour was canceled. Williams reported that they have been feeling better, joking that they weren't coughing all day and night anymore.
Williams really tried to keep the show going, initially just canceling a week of the tour before eventually deciding that after speaking to doctors and other medical professionals it became clear to Williams that if they continued to perform there would be an added risk of infection later on.
